BSASI Return Policy

Unopened/Unused Items

If you have purchased an incorrect or unwanted item, you may return it within 30 days of receipt according to the following:

  • Product must be unopened, unused and factory sealed.

  • Product returns must include original packaging, boxes, instructions, etc.

  • Products must be shipped back to BSASI freight pre-paid (customer pays for shipping back to BSASI)

  • A 18% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit card. BSASI does not give credit for shipping on the original order ** note in some circumstances an additional restocking fee may be incurred based on manufacturer return policy

  • Software cannot be returned for any reason. Please contact BSASI with any pre-sale software questions. 

Opened Items

We are unable to accept the return of any opened items.

Other

We are unable to accept the return of the following items.

  • Software unless pre-authorized by BSASI.

  • Special order items.

  • Custom-printed or custom-programmed products, including but not limited to custom lanyards, custom badge reels, custom TempBadge products, and programmed technology cards. 

Defective Merchandise (DOA)

If you received a product that is non-functioning or defective out of the packaging, please contact your BSASI Account Manager to arrange for a return material authorization (RMA). We will do our best to replace the product as quickly as possible. While it is our policy to offer you a choice of repair/replace or credit/refund of the cost of a DOA product, some manufacturers strictly enforce a repair/replace only or credit/refund only policy. In instances where this occurs the manufacturers policy shall supercede that of BSASI and the appropriate action followed. 

Return Procedures and Guidelines

  1. Contact your Account Manager for a BSASI RMA number within 30 days of receipt of product.

  2. All returned packages and merchandise must be shipped to the following address below, unless authorized by BSASI.

  3. RMA numbers must be clearly marked on the return shipping address label.

  1. Products must be shipped back freight prepaid (customer pays for shipping back to BSASI).

  2. Items must be received by BSASI within 5 days of issuance of RMA.

  3. All original packaging, instructions, etc. must be returned unmarked and undamaged.

  4. Product must be ‘like new’ and factory sealed.

  5. BSASI cannot be responsible for any merchandise that fails to arrive at our facility.

  6. Merchandise that arrives at our facility damaged cannot be accepted and will be returned to you.

  7. Credit will be issued to the original credit card or account holder after inspection by BSASI. We do not give credit for shipping on the original order.

  8. BSASI may amend the return policy guidelines at anytime.

Returns

Returns of Products are subject to BSASI's current return policies which are set forth here on our website. These policies may be subject to additional or lesser return rights adopted by the manufacturer or publisher. The Terms of Sale represent the complete and final agreement between the customer and BSASI for the matters set forth herein and shall be supplemented only by the prices, quantity, and descriptions set forth in BSASI's invoice for the relevant sale. Terms contained in customers' purchase orders, offers to buy, terms and conditions, and the like shall have no effect.

For Refunds: All returns for refund must be authorized by BSASI within 30 days of the delivery date. There is 18% restocking fee on products. (**note in some circumstances an additional restocking fee may be incurred based on manufacturer return policy) In addition, S&H cost is not refundable. PayPal is BSASI's payment processor, as of October 11th 2019, Paypal is NOT refunding processing fees. Therefore, your refund will be less the Paypal Processing fee incurred on average 3%

For Replacements by Manufacturers Warranty Policy: There will be NO replacments for any electronic component after 30 days being opened, installed, and used. Replacements will be provided for any defective product within the specified warranty period for that product. Replacements will be the only recourse for returns after 30 days from the delivery date. BSASI will only replace item(s) for the exact same item(s) during its warranty period. If the item is no longer in production or obsolete no replacement will be provided. The Product SKU, serial number, order number and date of purchase, along with a manufacturers case number issued by the manufacturers customer service department must be provided prior to an RMA being issued after our 30 day policy. Customer will adhere to the RMA policy stated above. 

**Advanced replacements** may be possible, discuss this with your account rep, these will be authorized on a case by case basis. For any replacement, the original product must be returned as stated in the RMA Policy above. If an advanced replacement has been authorized, you will have 14 days from the receipt of the replacement to return the defective product. After 14 days, BSASI reserves the right to charge the credit card for the full amount of the replacement. Any return received after 14 days may be subject to additional fees.

Quantity Purchases: While BSASI is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase, please understand that an order of that size, once purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. All other specific conditions related to the ordered item still apply, including any and all stipulations relative to any available replacement return policies. Please contact Customer Support with any questions you may have.

Out of Stock or Discontinued Items: If you return a product for replacement and it is Out of Stock or Discontinued when the item is received, you may be contacted by the BSASI Returns team and offered a suitable replacement.

For Defective Items: If the defect is reported within 30 days and a replacement is requested, we will send out a replacement and cover the shipping of the replacement item. If return of the defective item is requested by BSASI, you will be emailed a pre-paid UPS return shipping label to return the defective item to us. If no return is requested by BSASI, you will be asked to discard the item.

If a refund is requested, BSASI will issue a refund once the item is returned and the manufacturer has determined the validity of the defective part. If BSASI requests for the item to be returned to us, we will email you a pre-paid UPS return shipping label to return the defective item. If no return is requested by BSASI, a refund will be issued within 1-2 business days. We will issue a refund on shipping paid if, and only if, the defective item is the only item on the order. If there are other items that are being kept on the same order, no shipping refund will be issued. A partial shipping refund may be issued if the returned item is the bulk of the order. Partial shipping refunds will be issued at the sole discretion of the BSASI Returns department.

If a defect is reported after 30 days, BSASI is not responsible for return shipping costs. The customer will be required to ship the item back at their expense. This requires the customer to provide credit card information to cover products shipped to BSASI or the manufacturer, or both if BSASI acts as liason between the customer, distribution, and the manufacturer. There may be numerous shipping charges to resolve a defective product.

All returns, whether for refund or replacement, require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Products that are returned without a prior authorized RMA form and the RMA# clearly printed on the address label, will be refused and sent back to the sender. Please use the RMA# provided when your RMA form was authorized by your BSASI account representative through email correspondence. If you did not receive a copy of the RMA# in your e-mail confirmation, you can print a copy from the RMA Status page in the My Account section of the website after you have logged in.

BSASI is not liable for packages that are lost in transit. It is highly recommended that you use a trackable shipping service when you send back your merchandise.

Heavy Items (Warranty Shipping):

Once an RMA is submitted, the BSASI Returns department will arrange a schedule for pick up by UPS Freight shipping carrier. Because electric Projection Screens need to be returned via UPS SCS. We'll make arrangements to have the item return back to us by UPS. BSASI will ask for your best time available for UPS pick-up your defective/damaged projection screen. (UPS is available for pickup on normal business days from 10AM-5PM) Once we arrange for UPS to pick-up from your location, BSASI will provide a confirmation # with the date and time for pick-up. BSASI will also complete the Bill of Lading and email to you prior to the pick-up date for you to give to UPS Driver with projection screen.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL BSASI BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFIT OR OPPORTUNITY. CUSTOMER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS STATED IN THE MANUFACTURER'S OR PUBLISHER'S END USER WARRANTY ACCOMPANYING THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL BSASI LIABILITY EXCEED THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR COST OF THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM BSASI. SOME STATES MAY NOT RECOGNIZE A DISCLAIMER OR LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES AND/OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SO THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS MAY NOT APPLY. CUSTOMER MAY ALSO HAVE DIFFERENT AND/OR ADDITIONAL RIGHTS AND REMEDIES THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Errors and Omissions

BSASI makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our Web site(s). However, the documents and graphics published on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. BSASI makes no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site. All such documents and graphics are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, BSASI shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, BSASI shall immediately issue a credit in the amount of the incorrect price.
